Natural Therapy Ashram, Phnom Del, Tankrang, Batheay, Kompong Cham:

Now, we regularly, once a month, open the natural therapy camp at our project site in order serve the poor and those who need an alternative health care. Besides from serving the local people, so far, we also have served foreign participants or patients as well, such as from Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Thailand and USA.  In addition, we have increased our effort to children.

International Nature Cure and Yoga Camp: 10-14 May 2010

MlupPreahThor successfully organized a first International Nature Cure and Yoga Camp which was conducted from 10-13 May 2011 led by Dr. Ravindra Vasant Nisal. Dr. Nisal, graduate of Integrated Medicine, Modern Medicine, General Medicine, Ayurveda, Panch Karma, and Naturopathy. From 1981, Dr. Nisal worked as the Medical Officer and Chief Medical Advisor to Nisargopchar Ashram (Nature Cure Center) till 1996 he became the “Program Director” of the Ashram until now. www.nisargopcharashram.org

The camp received high support from the people. There were 40 participated in the camp (five Buddhist monks) and 60% of them were women. There 5 foreign participants: 2 Taiwanese, 2 Koreans and 1 Japanese.

Ms. Khon, lives in Tankrang village, Tankrang commune, Batheay district said during the training course that “I am having hypertension, but since I have practiced according the Nature Cure instruction of MlupPreahThor, now my health is a lot of better. Unlike before, now I can go far distance without worry; I don’t have to spend money for the medicine; my body is light and fresh. I just use water, chlorophyll drinks like Vorlliyeav (Khmer) and diet.

Most of the participants agreed among themselves and said that they will come to participate again when there would be a camp by MlupPreahThor. Therefore, at the end of the camp, due to the high support, need and effectiveness of the Nature Cure, the Founder of MlupPreahThor announced next International Nature Cure and Yoga Camp from 9-13 November 2011 during the water festival holiday in Cambodia.

Nature Cure Training

In October 2010, Mlup Preah Thor provided training on Natural Ways for Health Care to 70 people …

MlupPreahThor provided a first Natural Ways for Health Care (known as nature cure) to 21 people (4 women), who are the members of the Joint Committee for Khmer Thai People Reconciliation, from Cambodia and Thailand (13 people from Cambodia). The training took 3 days in Koh Kong city from 26-28 December 2554/2010. The training agenda including body rest and mental rest, eyes cleaning, nose cleaning and big bowel cleaning, natural food and showing a film on nature cure in India. The training was financed by the Buddhists and Khmer Society Network (BKSN)/AFSC.
